Mont-Corb Extra Ham with Cava and vegetables

Ingredients

  • - 4 slices (150-200 gr each) of Mont-Corb Extra Ham
  • - 1 celery stalk
  • - 150cc of single cream
  • - Thyme and peppercorns
  • - 1 large onion
  • - Oil and butter
  • - ½ kg of small carrots
  • - 3 leeks
  • - 1 dash of Cava

Preparation

In a saucepan, heat the oil and a tablespoon of butter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until transparent. Add the leeks, celery and carrots, all finely chopped. Season with thyme and peppercorns and cook slowly until all the vegetables are tender. Put the vegetables on an oven tray and lay the ham on top. Drizzle with Cava and bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 200ºC. Remove the ham from the tray and thicken the vegetables with the cream. Serve the ham with the vegetables on the side.
